The Diploma of Beauty Therapy trains graduates to work as competent and confident beauty therapists. We have been providing the beauty industry with highly skilled graduates for over 30 years. We keep our class sizes small so that all our students receive the highest quality training possible.
Students will:
- Learn to access clients beauty needs. Plan and conduct a treatment with sound knowledge of physiology and anatomy, skin science, skin biology, nutrition and cosmetic chemistry.
- Acquire Swedish and deep tissue massage techniques.
- Learn to communicate effectively with clients to advise on beauty services and to work in a retail environment.
- Be taught to provide a range of beauty treatments including: manicure and pedicare, body treatments, make-up, facials and advanced facial treatments.
- Learn how to plan and provide a spa program.
- Be able to provide waxing and bleaching treatments to clients
- Learn how to provide lash and brow treatments including tinting, waxing and plucking.
- Use reflexology relaxation techniques in beauty treatments.
- Learn advanced aromatherapy chemistry and blending and apply to beauty treatments.

Course Duration
The course is run over 40 weeks. Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday or Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 8.30am until3.45pm.
The Diploma of Beauty Therapy is assessed through practical, written and oral assessments, case studies and assignments. Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be eligible for a WRB50105 Diploma of Beauty Therapy.
