Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy has been designed to develop the first line management skills of those working in the Beauty industry. It applies to those who are co-ordinating or managing the services within a small beauty salon, or a section or department within a larger store. The beauty specialist at this level would study units, including lash and brow treatments, facial treatments, make-up application, waxing, advanced facials, body treatments (including massage),skin biology, nutrition, anatonomy and physiology,cosmetic chemistry and professional development units.

WRBCS411A          Apply knowledge of nutrition to beauty therapy treatments
WRBCS412A          Apply knowledge of cosmetic chemistry to beauty therapy treatments

Course Duration
The course is run over 30 weeks on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday or Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 8.30am until 3.45pm.

The Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy is assessed through practical, written & oral assessments, case studies and assignments. Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be eligible for a WRB40105 Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy.
